Camelina sativa is rapidly emerging as a versatile oilseed crop with applications in biotechnology, sustainable agriculture, food and feed, and industrial bioproducts. This Research Topic, launched in collaboration with Frontiers in Plant Science, aims to gather high-quality contributions presented during ICC 2026, together with additional submissions covering cutting-edge advances in Camelina research across genetics, genomics, molecular biology, metabolism, agronomy, and stress physiology.
The Topic welcomes Original Research, Reviews, Mini-Reviews, Methods, Perspectives, and Brief Research Reports. Submissions are open to all researchers working on Camelina, independently of conference attendance.
